Having this opportunity, to conduct a community service in one Barangay in Lucban, Quezon is an experience. Experience that I assure that not just an experience to comply with the requirements of our subject but to learn and realize many things from this opportunity.
Barangay 5 is the barangay given to us by our teacher. Our group prepares different activity such us clean up drive, story telling and feeding program to the children in Day Care Center and film showing. However, unfortunately film showing was canceled because, that day their barangay have affair in their barangay. So by that we just help them preparing for their affair.
In this different activity, I can say that I have learned new things from this experience. No matter I am not there in some activities. Nevertheless, during the time that I was there I enjoy what were doing, in fact I am Lucbanin that I did not do this thing. Now that I have given a chance, I found out that this barangay is one of the cleanest barangay here in Lucban, if am not mistaken this is the second. I also knew that the said barangay have unity to have good companion and success barangay. Conducting this different activity, were there to do the prepared activities but when we are there the official of their barangay joined us and helped us to do the said activities. Through that, we see that they have unity in their barangay to prevent their barangay as one. The official there are very hospitable that make us feel their warmth welcome and to be comfortable in their companion.
In this opportunity and experience, I learned things that before I did not know and I do not have care. Now im looking forward for my own barangay if we have an official and a barangay like them.
